IN Relation to

A virtual exhibition with five installations relation to.jpg

We believe in raising questions to explore and negotiate the conform routines within our practice.

We have been investigating how spaces change over time, how they are planed and what traces we leave behind.

Why are we taught to look at architecture as something static?

How can we plan architecture to consider the effect of time?

How can we develop our practice to include the inhabitants in their surroundings?

We are exploring these questions through creating new methods and prototypes and speculating on our role as future practitioners of architecture in a changing world.

This is an online exhibition. We have transformed our physical exhibition into a digital one. The works were created individually but in a constant conversation. Where one work ends, another begins. This exhibition is made by Marthe Kulseth, Rosalina Broberg Foroughipour, Peter Gehrman, Nora Velander and Sarah Bovelett. We study interior architecture and furniture design at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, Aarhus School of Architecture and Royal Academy of Art The Hague.

The exhibition was first held at Konstfack in January 2018.

We want to thank our teacher Sergio Montero Bravo, for helping us find our force and to +KOTE for letting us publish our journey.
